Love your music and your style. Hope to catch you next time you are in Sydney, sorry to have missed your show in Katoomba, but there is next time to look forward too.
Are you still selling some of the early disc like 'Tell me a Secret'?
Love your work.

Bruce Hopper it's people like you that drain our culture, our world by wanting everything so mainstream, mass-produced, non-thinking, and empty of any truthful and emotional substance - out of fear of engagement with fellow human beings whom ARE expressive, thoughtful and wanting intellectual and emotional connection with one another and with the world around them. Considering Vince has been one of the most respected, dearly loved musicians of our country in recent decades I do believe sir that your negative, critical FACELESS post (.. funny how people are so much more vicious online than in real life, no? Well rest assured I'd be happy to express this to in person if there was ever a time, passively of course.. because I , like SO MANY more people like intellectual debate and believe anything that stimulates thoughts and awareness of issues is a GOOD thing) is of bad taste.

It's good to share thoughts online Vince. 21st century culture.
Your thoughts, even without the cool voice, are well-appreciated. There is not a lot of philosophy getting air-time in a big way, so we just have to be at the right venue, to get the right gig...

Vince,

It's just too easy and simplistic to view the world as you do. It's also very easy to take the high moral ground when you are not placed in a position where you have to make the big decisions. I've seen many left of centre chardonnay sippers make all sorts of judgement calls from the comfort of their couch and wriggling in the delicious sense of self righteousness they obviously feel. You know, the left are the good guys and the right the evil ones. It's nonsense.
There have been unjust wars fought for reasons other than justice or protection of a country but we don't have to go back too far to see what would have happened had we and our allies held your opinion on soldiers and war back in 1939. Only a fool could like war, but only a foolish person would make sweeping generalisations about ALL soldiers and all wars.
I might add that some balance in your views would be appreciated. If you abhor violence and the abuse of human rights then how about a song or two about the taliban or Iraq under the tender care of Sadam? Are you only upset by crimes committed by western nations? True men of peace abhor all human rights abuse and carry no political agenda

You sing beautifully, Vince.

regards,
Mark
